The end of Treble Toolkit updates
Treble Toolkit has been on development for over 2 years (January 2020). During this time, it has received updates that made it unrecognizable from the first releases. Over time important features got added and improved and so did my coding skills, as I started coding with Treble Toolkit. However, after 2 years and 7 months, I feel like Treble Toolkit is complete and therefore won't get new feature updates.
I really appreciate your guys' support over the years and I can't thank you enough for Treble Toolkit's estimated 3000+ downloads since November 2020, but it's time to move onto other projects.
What does this mean to you?
After August 2nd 2022, Treble Toolkit will no longer get feature updates, but will still occasionally get bugfix updates. On December 2nd 2022, Treble Toolkit will get one final feature update that adds web-loaded images that allow it to be lighter and release on x86-32 devices. After 22.12, x86-32 and x64 releases will become synchronized. I will also add new tested devices on the Compatible Devices page as you guys report your success.
Platform Tools updates will also continue to be rolled out to Treble Toolkit 21.11 and later as normal and the update servers will continue to work as normal indefinitely. You can submit bug reports on Github, XDA and on this website and I will look into it.
Also, unpacking super.img was a planned feature for Treble Toolkit but with this announcement, that is cancelled.
Final notes
On the 2nd December 2022, the website screenshots will be updated one final time to reflect the last release of Treble Toolkit.
The beta program will still work, but the releases there will be the same as stable releases.
Platform Tools updates may take more time to roll out than usual.
